The RAM-B-102-231ZU consists of a double socket arm, two diamond bases and extra zinc coated u-bolt base. The diamond bases measure 2.43" x 1.31" diamond base and contain two holes 1.912" from center to center, positioned at both ends of the diamond base. The hole pattern found on the diamond bases will connect to many RAM cradles, as well as third party cradles including mounts with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. The zinc coated metal u-bolt accommodates rails in diameter from 0.5" to 1.25" in diameter. Also included are black cover caps to be placed over the exposed ends of the u-bolt and a composite adapter that can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 0.5". Designed into the mount is a 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system with adjustment points at both ends of the socket arm; this with a twist of the arm knob, allows for infinite articulation and optimum viewing angles. U-Bolt Dimensions: Accommodates rails from 0.5" to 1.25" in diameter. Material: Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Ball Size: 1" Rubber "B" Ball Size Note: The "U" in the part number reflects product packaged in poly bag.
